Project 365 – Day 300: A warm Friday Lunchtime

October 26 2012

You really wouldn’t have thought it was nearly November today with temperatures up at 20 degrees and clear blue sky. With rain in the forecast from tomorrow and lasting all week, people were certainly making the most of what is likely to have been the last warm day of 2012. My girlfriend whose birthday is today certainly had a good day for it, particularly more so having taken the day off work., heck we may even be dining out on a terrace tonight.

I grabbed a few shots around Place des Arts where a good sized crowd of people were soaking up the warmth.

Just behind the Place des Arts metro station entrance on Bleury is the Domtar garden…

On the north side of the small garden is a wooden sculpture by Québec artist Michel Saulnier called Echo.
